About the presenter - Emily Kate

Emily is a self-taught hand embroidery artist with a passion for all things nature - especially florals. Growing up while surrounded by others who nurtured her creative pursuits, Emily has become a stand out in her field. Each piece of modern stitchery is designed and planned with the utmost of care. Beginning out as a drawing before being hand-stitched into unique and beautiful artwork. Her dream is to take her artistic endeavours to new heights by turning it into her fulltime occupation.

Emily, although currently living in Brisbane, spent many of her childhood years in Toowoomba. If she is not busy working or stitching Emily loves to head back to her childhood home or travel to new destinations.
